Application of Grand Theory
Grand medical theories are definitely the large umbrellas of theory and are standard concepts in most areas of medical. They are specific in nursing jobs tasks. The two theories can be utilised together but are different inside the areas applied.
Henderson's review " the best care can be patient concentrated; better still, family focused” (as cited in Nicely & DeLario, 2011, p. 72). Her theory is to enhance self care while the head dead patient can not accomplish this for themselves or perhaps participate (Nicely & DeLario, 2011). I would personally sum up Henderson's 14 activities discussed because basic daily care, monitoring and dealing with changes in the body system, treating the patient as a person not a human body, and such as family. The nurse plays the largest role in a successful organ monetary gift and hair transplant (Nicely & DeLario, 2011). Applying the theory in body organ donation displays the family you maintain the patients and can relieve the suffering of burning off their loved one. The theory provides the patient pride in an impending death (Nicely & DeLario, 2011).
" Self-care requisites are activities necessary for a great individuals's functioning, development, and well-being” (Wilson, Baker, Nordstrom, & Legwand, 2008 [Wilson, ou al, 2008] g. 11). Wilson et 's (2008) talk about the low profits mother as having low educational level and therefore requires more information regarding her infant's immunization requirements, and providing this information to her. The need for her to learn the information is discussed and the mother must educate the information back in the doctor (Wilson et al, 2008). This gets rid of the need for essays, flyers, and so forth, that the mom may not be in a position to read or perhaps understand. Pat et approach (2008) use the Orem theory in self-care because of the shortage of poor education of low income mother's and their infants immunizations.
The two ideas are similar because they have a final outcome of the sufferer and family learning, demonstrating the nurse cares, and supplementing the self-care....
